The Gables offers a selection of rooms depending on your needs.
All rooms are pet friendly and breakfast is included.

You’ll be staying in a refurbished four bed detached period property suitably within a quaint historic village with easy access to local amenities including bars, restaurants, breweries and excellent shopping facilities all within close proximity.

In Room Facilities

All rooms are decorated to a high standard and come complete with the following amenities:

Welcome Tray

Tea and coffee making facilities are as standard in all rooms with a range of decaf, herbal and flavoured teas as well as standard and decaf coffee.

Biscuits are provided to help wash the drink down.

Towels

Guests are provided a bath towel and hand towel for the duration of their stay, so no need to use valuable suitcase space bringing your own!

Ironing Facilities

An iron is located in all rooms as well as an ironing mat which can be placed anywhere.

Hairdryer

All rooms come complete with a hairdryer.

Smart TV

Smart TVs are available in all rooms for guests to log into their own streaming services.

Shared Facilities

In addition to your private room, you will have access to the spacious shared family bathroom with a refreshing power shower and a charming roll-top bath for total relaxation.

You are welcome to use the shared kitchen facilities and we also have a guest lounge area where you can relax and unwind. The guest lounge is complete with a dining table, TV and sofa.

Pet Friendly Accommodation

We welcome well behaved dogs with their owners to stay with us.

We are very pet friendly as we have a friendly/needy French Bulldog ourselves. Nugget the resident Frenchie can't wait to meet you.

We do have an extra charge when staying with your dog as a deeper clean is needed to make sure there are no stray hairs for the next guest.

Dogs are charged at £20 per dog, per night.

Amenities:

We have a large garden you can stretch their legs in but we do ask that you clean up after your pooch.

Place mats, food and water bowls are provided.

Complimentary bag of pet treats in your room.

Pet Policy

Maximum of 2 dogs per room
Flat fee of £20 per dog, regardless of size, per night
Dogs must have up to date vaccinations, proof of which should be available if required
Dogs must be carried or placed on the lead when in the house (not in your room)
Dogs must not be left in the room unattended, unless in a crate. We offer a dog sitting service if required (extra charge).
You are responsible for your dog at all times and will be held responsible for any damage they may cause.
Please remove any excess water/mud from your dog after a walk before entering the building.
